إن فهم النظريات والمناهج النقدية الغربية وتمثلها من خلال معرفتها سياقاتها الخاصة يظهر أن تعددها وتطورها واختلافات تطبيقها نتيجة طبيعة للصراع المنهجي المستمر في الغرب وهو صراع يحمل في طياته علامة صحة وقوة. ولكن مواجهة مثل هكذا اختلافات في النقد العربي خصوصاً حين يؤخذ من الغرب. كثيراً ما يفهم بشكل آخر من البعض الذي يغفل في ذلك عن حقيقة أن من أجمل ما في حقلي الأدب والنقد وأكثرها ملاءمة هو البعد عن الجدية والصرامة المطلقة والحرفية الانحسار الكبير ل (الصح والخطأ). في مقابل هيمنة الاجتهاد وخصوصية الفهم والتلقي وتعددية مثل هذا الفهم والاجتهاد. لكن هذه الأمور كثيراً ما قادت دارسين ونقاداً ونقاد نقد إلى الوقوع في أخطاء وسوء فهم للنقد العربي والنقاد العرب، وهو سوء الفهم الذي قاد بدوره إلى تحميل هذا النقد ونقاده العرب الأخطاء والاختلاف وربما الاضطراب في المناهج والمصطلحات والمفاهيم التي يجب أن نعي أن مصدر بعضه هو أصله الغربي. فنحن هنا لا نستسيغ أن يكون مثل هكذا (خطأ) أو اختلاف أو اضطراب في النقد الغربي ولا نتقبله في النقد العربي. كما لا نستسيغ أن نتقبل من الغربيين أن يجتهدوا ويختلفوا ويوظفوا النظريات ويجمعوا بين المناهج أو المفاهيم أو النظريات. ويصيغوا أو يجترحوا المصطلح الجديد من المصطلح القديم، بينما تقوم القائمة إذا ما وجدنا عربياً يفعل مثل هذا واعتبرناه مخطئاً أو لا يفهم أو يسيء الاستخدام والتطبيق. ولقد عني كتابنا بهذا وبمثل هؤلاء الذين يلومون ويخطئون الآخرين لمجرد الخروج على الأصول الغربية للمناهج الغربية أو الاجتهاد فيها. فإذا كان النقد بشكل ما نصاً جديداً فإنهم ينسون أمراً مهماً يتعلق بالتعامل مع النصوص. نعني قابليتها لتعددية الفهم والاستنطاق أولاً ولخصوصية التلقي والتطبيق والتوظيف ثانياً مما يجعلها موضع خلاف طبيعي بين قرائها، أفراداً ينتمون إلى زمن واحد أو جيل واحد وإلى بلد أو شعب أو أمة بعينها. وجماعات من أجيال مختلفة أو من بلدان وشعوب وأمم متباينة. المحتويات: • الأيقونة الأولى : أوهام المناهج • الأيقونة الثانية: أوهام الأجناس والتجنيس • الأيقونة الثالثة: أوهام المصطلحات والمفاهيم • الأيقونة الرابعة: أوهام النظرية والتطبيق. • الأيقونة الخامسة: أوهام المقولات والمسلمات. • الأيقونة السادسة: أوهام أخرى في الأدب والنقد.
