نبذة النيل والفرات: تقوم هذه الدراسة على إعتماد المنهج الأسلوبي معياراً في التحليل بإعتماد اللغة التي تعد ركيزة النص الشعري، وموضوع هذه الأطروحة يبحث في أدوات التشكيل الجمالي لشعر الخوارج الذي يتألف من التركيب والدلالة والموسيقى، ورصد الظواهر التي ترتبط بالمحتوى الذي يمثل كيانهم الشعري. وقامت هذه الدراسة على تمهيد وثلاثة فصول وخاتمة، وقام التمهيد على مداخلة نظرية حملت عنوان (رؤية في الجذور والنشأة وأدوات العمل الأسلوبي) قدم فيها الباحث نبذة مختصرة لتطور علم اللغة الحديث؛ ودرس الفصل الأول (البنية الدلالية لشعر الخوارج)، فضم مبحثين تكفل المبحث الأول بدراسة (دلالة الخطاب الشعري)، في حين خصص المبحث الثاني لدراسة الإنزياح الشعري ممثلاً بالإستعارة والثنائيات الضدية، وتأسس الفصل الثاني (البنية التركيبية) على عدد من الظواهر الأسلوبية ذات البناء التركيبي، ومن أبرز تلك المنبهات الأسلوبية نسق الإستفهام وتراكم الأفعال والنفي والخلخلة التركيبية وتحولات الرتبة وأدوات الربط والشرط، أما الفصل الثالث (البنية الصوتية)، فنهض على مبحثين، الأول قام على دراسة البنية العروضية، في حين جاء المبحث الثاني لدراسة (البنية التفاعلية).
