يعجز كتاب واحد عن إيفاء الدكتور وديع حدَاد حقَه، فقد كانت حياته كخلية نحل لا تكلَ ولا ترتاح، ولا تكف عن العمل، وما أبلغ تلك البرقية التي وصلتني منه قبل يوم من وفاته يحدَد فيها موعد عمل.
الدكتور وديع حدَاد قوميَ عربي من عائلة فلسطينية مسيحية، ذاق من أهله ما ذاق شعبه من مرارة الترحيل بقوة السلاح الغاشم، من أرضه وبيته ومدينته صفد الجميلة. وهو طالب في الجامعة الأميركية في بيروت، أسرع إلى فلسطين لنجدة أهله وشعبه في ايار 1948 من دموية الجرائم الصهيونية التي ارتكبت ضد أهل فلسطين، وضد الإنسانية، وولَدت فيه إرادة التحدي والمقاومة والإنتصار.
نظَم آلاف الشباب العرب ودرَبهم ليخوضوا معركة الحرية ودحر الظالمين. بلَور مدرسة في العمل الثوري مضيفاً بذلك إلى الفكر الثوري التحريري خطاً استراتيجياً جديداً يقوم على بناء تحالف مبنيَ بروابط تنظيمية بين فصائل ثورية في المجتمعات الرأسمالية وحركة التحرر العربي التي تمثلت في السبعينات بحركة التحرير الفلسطيني، وطوَر هذا التحالف ليصبح جبهة تقاتل العدو الصهيوني وحلفاءه بقيادة حركة التحرير الوطني في الشرق العربي، كما طوَر وسائل القتال وتكتيكاته ممَا جعل أعداء أمتنا العربية يلهثون وراءه.
قادة وديع حدَاد مقاومة لا تتوقف ضد أعداء الأمة العربية، وجنَدت إسرائيل وحلفاؤها في الغرب والشرق كل الطاقات لتصفيته.
العمل المقاوم والمبدع في فنون وأشكال المقاومة كان مطلوباً أو ميتاً لجميع القوى والدول المعادية للشعوب وحقَها في تقرير المصير والحرية والعيش الكريم.
هذا الكتاب هو مرجع متواضع عن هذا العقل المبدع في مقاومة أعداء الشعوب.
