الشِعْرُ لا ينطق إلاّ عن الهوى؛ ولا يتوشح إلاّ من رداء الحبّ مع كل إصدار جديد في قصائد الشاعر السعودي حسن الصلهبي. وبوجود سيدته الأولى وملهمته اللغة؛ التي تحاول أن تقول ما لا تستطيع الحياة قوله، ولا حتى البوح به، يخطُ شاعرنا هذه المرة مزاميره على ألواح عشقه المقدّسة في «هَسِيس» فيحفر بحروفه حزن كل عاشق لامرأة مسّه منها الهوى؛ ومهاجرٍ لوطنٍ مسّه منه الحنين. يحمل أحلامهم، نبضهم، همومهم، بصمتٍ ويمضي في الغياب. ولهذا قيل عن الكتابة ذاتها أنها نوعاً من الغياب؛ فهي خروج من الحياة، تسمح للذات الشاعرة بأن تستحضر غيابها في النص مرة أخرى. وهذا الجدل هو ما يمنح النص الشعري فاعليته، وزمنيته، واستمراريته في «هَسِيس» المجموعة الشعرية الفريدة في مضامينها ومعانيها والتي لا يتوقف صانعها عن إدهاشنا مع كل محاولة لنا لفهم نصّه، وتفسيره، وتأويله... هكذا هو الشعر يخفي أكثر مما يقول...
في القصيدة المعنونة «هَسِيس» يقول الشاعر حسن الصلهبي: "لاَ شَيءَ يُجْبِرُ للرَّحيلِ/ مِنَ المكانِ/ مُتوسِّدا وَجَعي تَركتُكِ/ تَرتدينَ الطُّهرَ في عُرسِ احتراقكِ،/ تُطلقينَ لكُلِّ مجنونٍ عَنَانْ./ ومضيتُ../ تَبتهلُ الخُطَى قَبْلي،/ وَيَتبعُني الطَّريقُ الأفعوانْ./ لاَ شَيءَ يُشبهُني../ أنا الوطنُ المعتّقُ في زجاجِ الّروحِ/ والزَّمنُ المسافرُ/ في تجاويف الزَّمانِ بلا زمانْ. (...)".
