يتخذ الشاعر حسن الصلهبي من المرأة بؤرة القصيدة في مجموعته الشعرية المعنونة «لا سوايَ يليقُ بك» لتنسجم مع كونه الشعري الذي ما هو إلاَّ تعبيراً عن الحال الشعورية للأنا، وتشظيها عبر حالات نفسية وجمالية، وبهذا المعنى يبدوا حضور "المرأة" فاعلاً من خلال تحقيق أثره في الآخر "الرجل"، وهذا ما تشفّره الرؤية الشعرية للصلهبي وإحساسه العميق بنصفه الآخر، وقد عبر عن ذلك بلغة مؤثثة بالأناقة والتكثيف والبحث عن مكامن الجمال، لذلك نراه حين يصف المرأة ينتقي مفرداته انتقاءاً ذكياً، وبنسقٍ خاص، يشدنا إليها على وفق إيقاعاتها؛ ما يجعل أغلب قصائده ما هي إلاَّ مرايا مشحونة بطاقة متوقدة، تنقلنا من صورة إلى أخرى؛ إنها طاقة الحبّ الذي لا ينضب.تحت عنوان "لا سواكِ يَرُدُّني لِمَنِابتي الأولى" يقول الشاعر:"عشقٌ خرافي كهذا../ كيفَ لا يتخلّدُ،/ وهوىٌ له طعمُ النُّجومِ ونكهةُ الشمسِ الفريدة../ كيف لا يتمددُ/ ومشاعرُ الزهرِ الخجول به/ تطيرُ وتنشدُ،/ ماذا نغني؟/ هل نمدُّ أكفنا للبحرِ أم نتوسدُ/ الموجَ الذي يأوي إلى أنفاس لهفتنا/ عشقٌ به الوعدُ اللذيذُ،/ ورجفةُ الشطآنِ والمدنُ الوليدةُ،/ كيفَ لا يتورّدُ/ بل كيف تأتيهِ الفراشاتُ الخفافُ/ فلا يموتُ ويولد،/ أَوْ يحتسيه الوقتُ في لهفٍ،/ فلا يذوي ولا يتبدّدُ،/ وتقده اللحظاتُ في نسكِ الترابِ/ فيستزيدُ ويزبدُ./ (...)".تضم المجموعة تسعة عشر قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث انتظمت تحت عناوين رئيسية ثلاث، العنوان الأول: "كقلب ينبض تحت كثبان شتاء"، أما العنوان الثاني فهو "لا سواي يليق بك"، والعنوان الثالث: "أعقاب الحنين".
