هيْمنت مظاهرُ "علم السّيميولوجبا" على محيطنا الحيويّ بالسّلب والإيجاب والصّلاح والفساد والتّوقيف والشّيوع، دون أن يكون لنا به وعيُ كافٍ ودون أن يكون لنا حضورٌ فاعلٌ فيه، والبلايك باعتبارها علاماتٍ، تُحاصرنا اليوم من كلّ النّواحي والجوانب، بل تسْجننا وتسْجن أبصارنا وعقولنا ولاتحرّرها من عُقَدِنَا اللّسانيّة المحدّدة لسيميائنا التّقليديّة، فنكاد أن نفقد إنسانيّتنا ونبقى خارج الجغرافيا السّيميائيّة الحديثة العامّة، لذا كان همّ بحْثنا هذا بالبلايك في مفهومها العامّ باعتبارها علاماتٍ ظلّت عند العرب بلا عِلم، وإن كان لها علم جهويّ في القديم، يعرف بـ"علم أسرار الحروف" المعروف بـ"السّيميا" في مقدّمة ابن خلدون، إلى أن جاء خبرُ السيميائيّة الطارئ من الغرب وجاء معه جيلٌ جديدٌ من المشتغلين بعلوم اللّغة واللّسان من الدّارسين العرب المُعاصرين، فحاولوا اِسْتيعاب بعض مباديء هذا العلم أو اِستهلاك ثِمار فتوحاته عن طريق التّرجمة المُشوّهة في الغالب بعض مفاهيمه ومصطلحاته، بعد أن كان ولعُهم بالتّوقيف اللفظيّ هادِرًا عنْدهم طاقات العوْد على بدء والدّوران في فلك المِحْور المملوء وهْمُا، فقل نفْع هذا العلم وغاب فِعله وغلب لغطٌه الدّائريّ على إفادته اللّولبيّة.
