وبيّنت الدكتورة أسماء أن الكاتبة قد سلطت الأضواء في مجموعتها على علاقة المرأة بالرجل متناولة قضايا اجتماعية ونفسية تمس كلا الطرفين، مشيرة إلى العتبات ولغة السرد والأصوات السردية وبعض التقنيات التي احتوتها المجموعة.
يُذكر أن سمر الزعبي كاتبة أردنية حاصلة على شهادة البكالوريوس تخصص الصحافة والإعلام من جامعة اليرموك، ولها مشاركات ثقافية عديدة في نشاطات وفعاليات ثقافية مختلفة في الاردن، وحاصلة على جائزة رابطة الكتاب الأردنيين في حقل الرواية، المركز الثالث عن مخطوط (مدائن الندم)، وجائزة سواليف الأدبية في القصّة القصيرة، المركز الأوّل عن نص (عدسة).
وتمّت ترجمة نص (وأخيرًا) عن طريق مسابقة ألف ليلة وصحوة للقصّة القصيرة إلى الّلغة الإنجليزيّة والإسبانيّة.الرواية صدرت عن رفوف.
