ترجع اهمية موضوع هذا الكتاب الى كون التهود يجعل الديانة اليهودية ديانة تبشرية وليست ديانة عرقية قاصرة على عرق بعينه وهم ابناء يعقوب ( اسرائيل ) فالتهود يسمح لكل من يرغب في ان يدخل الى اليهودية بصرف النظر عن جنسه او عرقه او لونه ان يدخل ويصبح يهوديا ومن ثم فالتهود يصيب في مقتل الزعم الذي يردده اليهود حاليا بشأن نقائهم العرقي وزعمهم ان اليهود الذين يعيشون في عصرنا الحالي ساميون اي انهم جميعا من نسل يعقوب ( اسرائيل ) وبناء على هذا الزعم يشهرون سيف العداء للسامية فى وجه كل من يمس اليهود بالفعل او حتى بمجرد القول .. كما ترجع أهمية هذا الكتاب إلى كونه يثبت من خلال المصادر الدينية اليهودية ذاتها، زيف النقاء العرقي ويثبت أن دخول الغرباء في ديانة موسى من جهة، والامتزاج الدموي أو زواج الأجنبيات من غير بنات يعقوب من جهة أخرى، يضربان بجذروهما في التاريخ اليهودي، وبذلك يرد على كثير من التساؤلات ويفسر الكثير من التناقضات وعلى رأسها: كيف لسبط واحد هو سبط يهوذا الذي بقي على قيد الحياة من الاثنى عشر سبطا، أن يحافظ على استمراريته، بعد العودة من السبي، بل وينمو رغم الشتات بمعدلات كبيرة جدًا، ويصل إلى 14,5 مليون نسمة في وقتنا الراهن كما يزعمون؟!
