يضم الكتاب الذي أقدمه هنا مجموعة من القراءات النقدية لنصوص شعرية وسردية لشعراء و روائيين، بعضهم أصدر عملاً واحداً والبعض الآخر له تجربة أطول، وخبرة أسع. إلاّ أن قراءتي للنصوص لم تعتمد على أسس الخبرة الأدبية للشاعر أو الأديب، بل اعتمدت على اعتبار النص مخلوقاً حيّاً يمتلك مقوماته الخاصة به. لم التزم منهجاً معيناً، بل انطلقت من مجموعة من المعارف التي تساعد في إضاءة النص وكشف خفاياه، سواء تلك المستخلصة من علم الاجتماع، أو من مناهج النقد الأدبي أو نظريات اللغة. وعلى هذا النحو يمكن القول، ان المعيار الذي اعتمدت عليه في فهم النص، هو معيار ذاتي، يعتمد على رؤية فكرية انتخابية في منحاها، أكثر منه نظري يعتمد على نظرية محددة واحدة، هدفه التوصل الى نتائج محددة. ومثل هذه القراءة الى جانب كونها تحتاج الى جهود كبيرة، وتواجهها مخاطر كبيرة لاتساع الرؤية النقدية، فانها تعتمد المرونة في هذه الرؤية النابعة من إقامة علاقة حميمة مع النص أولاً والتغلغل في ثيماته وأفكاره لكشف معانيه وبنيته واللغة التي تتأسس عليه ثانياً. ولهذا فهي، باختصار شديد، محاولة تتناول كل نص على حدة، وتحاول أن تضيئه من داخله، أو بعبارة أخرى، هي محاولة قمت عبرها باختيار الأدوات المنهجية والفكرية التي أعتقد أنها تناسب النص المنقود.
