وبعد إعلان فوزه رسميا برئاسة البرازيل أكد الرئيس البرازيلي لويس إيناسيو لولا دي سيلفا في أول كلمة له بالالتزام بكافة تعهدات بلاده الدولية المتعلقة بتسديد الديون والعمل مع حكومته لمكافحة التضخم لإنقاذ الاقتصاد البرازيلي من أزماته الحالية. داعياً أبناء شعبه بالعمل سوياً لإعادة بناء دولتهم، معلنا أن البرازيل قادرة على لعب دور متميز في القارة الأمريكية لتحقيق السلام وبالتالي تحقيق النمو الاقتصادي والاجتماعي.
ومرت السنوات مسرعة ليقف لولا دي سيلفا ليتبادل الدموع مع شعبه فى الخطبة التى ودعه فيها بعد انتهاء ولايته الثانية، والتي أحدث خلالها طفرة حقيقية في كافة المجالات منذ العام 2002 ثم أعيد انتخابه سنة 2006 بعد أن فاز بـ60% من الأصوات.
وبين الأعوام العديدة لابد أن نتوقف أمام سنوات دي سيلفا لنرى كيف نجح هذا الرجل البسيط في القيام بعمل يشبه المعجزة داخل هذا البلد الساحر.. فماذا فعل دي سيلفا؟ وكيف نجح؟ وهل تجربة دي سيلفا قابلة للتطبيق في بلاد اخرى مثل دول الربيع العربي مع مراعاة خصوصية العالم العربي والإسلامي؟
