Book Description
عاد جلال إلى قريته الصنوبرية. لم يجد منزل جدته حيث نشأ كما كان. لقد اقتحمه أهل القرية وحطّموا أثاثه لاعتقادهم أن صاحبته الحاجة هدية كانت صديقة الجان.صبحية الأرملة التي تسكن في الجوار، تزور جلال لتعرض عليه تنظيف المنزل. تتطوّر علاقتهما نحو ملامسات حسّية. لكن ذكرى حب قديم تستيقظ داخله بعد اتصال هاتفي من سلمى ابنة خاله، كما أن روزيت زوجة صديقه عدنان تريد شيئاً منه.فجأة يتغيّر مزاج سكان أهل القرية تجاه الحاجة هدية. لقد صنعت معجزات عديدة من قبرها، ما دفعهم إلى جعلها وليّة، وزيارة ضريحها للتبرّك منه. لكن ذلك لا يعجب «أهل الصراط» لأن الله لم يرسل نبيات إلى البشر وإنما أنبياء.رواية شيقة تحكي عن الصراع بين التديّن الفطري والتديّن الحزبي في قرية جنوبية يشعر سكانها بالأروح ولا ينتبهون لها.
