- Daltonism:- dichromacy characterized by a lowered sensitivity to green light resulting in an inability to distinguish green and purplish-red (Princeton WordNet 3.1)
- Daltonism:- الدالتونية عمى الألوان، أي شذوذ في البصر قوامه عدم القدرة على التمييز بين الألوان، ولا سيما الأحمر والأخضر. وهي منسوبة الى دالتون ( J .Dalton) الذي كان أول من لفت النظر الى هذا الشذوذ في بحث قدمه الى جمعية (مانشستر) الأدبية والفلسفية سنة 1794.
