بول ريكور (بالفرنسية: Paul Ricœur ) فيلسوف فرنسي وعالم إنسانيات معاصر ولد في فالينس، شارنت، 27 فبراير 1913، وتوفي في شاتيناي مالابري، 20 مايو 2005. هو واحد من ممثلي التيار التأويلي، اشتغل في حقل الاهتمام التأويلي ومن ثم بالاهتمام بالبنيوية، وهو امتداد لفريديناند دي سوسير. يعتبر ريكور رائد سؤال السرد. أشهر كتبه (نظرية التأويل -التاريخ والحقيقة-الزمن والحكي- الخطاب وفائض المعنى - Interpretation philosophic theory - Discourse and the Surplus of Meaning / من منشورات جامعة تكساس المسيحية عام 1976).

كتاب من النص إلى الفعل تأليف بول ريكور يتناول الكتاب أهم إشكالية قائمة في عصرنا، وهي الشلل عن تحويل الفكر إلى فعل، أو التصوُّرَ إلى عملٍ. يعرض الكتاب أهم المقالات التى نشرها "بول ريكور" ، ثم يتناول عرض كتاب صراع التأويلات الذى يدرس مرحلة الستينات. أما الجزء الثانى من الكتاب فهو يوضح بدقة ، التفاهم السلمى الذى سمح به الكاتب لنفسه فى هذا الكتاب أما فيما يتعلق بالدور المتروك للخيال فهو الجزء الأخير حيث جمع فيه الكاتب بعض الأبحاث التى ترتبط بالموضوعات السابقة عبر الرسم الخيالى من خلال الممارسة.
