تُلهمني المُباشرة، ان أرى نفسي أتكلم... مباشرة، بواسطة الشعر أو شاشة فيديو... وإن أورد مثلاً في هذا الكتاب: "عبثاً هكذا على كرسيّي" هو كأنْ أتحوَّل... إلى مذيع تلفزيوني: "مساء الخير... وإلى اللقاء"، ففي الحالين متعة المباشرة واحدة.
... لأنه عندما تقيم الحَيرة على كل صعيد، نبدو أميل لدفع ذواتنا إلى دائرة المباشرة والكلام عنها... ولا يهم عند ذاك من تكون ذواتنا، فهي والحال هذه مطلق أي كلام أو صورة نظن أو نقرر أنهما يُمثّلاننا، فأمام الحركة أو "مجد الحركة" لا شأن لــ "الهويّة"... لا شأن.
الحركة الناجمة عمّا تبقّى من نبض... حياة مباشرة (تضيق إلى سنتمترات أحياناً)، فتنتفي إذّاك المسافة القائمة بين اليد الكاتبة والمكتوب... تُمسي الحركة نفسها هي الكتابة (ربما) إشارة الحياة المنبجسة من جسم الكاتب بإتجاه العدم... وذلك وسط بداهة عامة تُسطّر صعيد حياته، بحيث يبدو شخص الكاتب (أو الشاعر لا فرق) في خضمّها، الأقل بداهة إنما الأبلغ إيماءً...
