فى بداية العشرينات وضعت خطة مفادها أن عند بلوغى السابعة والعشرين دون زواج سأترك المنزل وأستقل وحدي. اليوم وبدون وعى الغى الخطة. أعى أننى غير قادرة على الحياة وحدى بدون ونيس. أضبط نفسى كثيرا وأنا عائدة بعد يوم طويل وعند إقترابى من المنزل أتمنى أن يكون أحد أفراد أسرتى به لأني لن أحتمل دخولى على مكان مظلم هادىء خالٍ من البشر. ندرك مع تقدمنا فى العمر أن الصحبة هى أهم شىء.

يمنى خطاب، ولدت فى منتصف الثمانينات بحى المعادى بالقاهرة، تخرجت من مدرسة راهبات الفرنسيسكان عام 2003 لتلتحق بكلية الإقتصاد والعلوم السياسة جامعة القاهرة. حصلت على ماجيستير بالإقتصاد الدولى من جامعة السوربون بفرنسا فى عام 2008. تعمل حالياً كإقتصادي بوزراة المالية المصرية. بدأت الكتابة فى عام 2010 حيث التحقت بعدة ورش للكتابة الابداعية للسيناريو والقصة القصيرة.
