رواية شهرزاد رجلاً تأليف محمد أبو معتوق، تتحدث عن قضية اجتماعية هامة وهي قضية العلاقة بين الرجل و المرأهة وجشع الرجل وطمعه ورغبته في امتلاك المرأة وطبعه الخائن. تحدث محمد أبو معتوق عن دور المرأة الأم في تنشئة الرجال علي الأنانية وحب النفس و التملك، رواية شهرزاد رجلا تتحدث عن بطل الرواية المدلل الذي يستمع إلي كلام والدته كثيرا ولا يبدي أي اعتراض علي ما تقوله.
بطل رواية شهرذاد رجلا كان علي علاقة بفتاة وكان يريد أن يتقدم لخطبتها ولكن والدته اعترضت علي ذلك و كانت تريد أن تزوجه أربعة نساء، علمت حبيبته بهذا الأمر فرفضت أن تستمر معه وابتعدت عنه. تستمر أحداث رواية شهرزاد رجلا إلي أن يقبل بطل الرواية بأوامر والدته و بالفعل يذهب ليتقدم الي أربعة من الفتيات و لكن مع الأسف لا يستطيع أن يتعامل كما تريد والدته و قرر العودة مرة أخري الي حبيبته ليتقدم إلي خطبتها فهل توافق حبيبته؟ وماذا ستفعل والدته؟
