Book Description
"غير أن محنته الكبرى كانت في الليالي، فبعد العقد عليها تحولت حميدة العلالي إلى لبوة، وصارت تجاهد لتمتع زوجها في لمس ظفرها كما صرحت لأن جنيد جارتها، وقد أدهش تصرف الزوجة زوجها السيوفي". فبعد ليال طويلة من ادعاء التعب، والألم، والتظاهر بالمرض، اكتشف السيوفي أن زوجته تتقصد أن تمنعه عن جسدها، لذلك صرخ في وجهها غاضباً: تعطيني نفسك بالحرام، وتتمنعين الحلال، من أي طينة أنت؟ ثم لوح بظاهر كفه الغليظ في الهواء ولطمها على وجهها، فتسربت الزرقة من فروة رأسها إلى عينيها وخديها، وكادت أن تصل إلى سرتها.
لم يكن السيوفي يفهم أن زوجته لا تريده بسبب ابنها الذي في بطنها، فهي تخاف على جنينها من الضغط العنيف المتناوب الذي يمنحن السيوفي به جسد زوجته، كما وأن خشية من نوع آخر انتابتها وهي أن يزداد ضغط الزوج فتتحقق مخاوف جارتها أم جنيد ويقع الجدار، وهي مرة أخرى لن تكن تخاف على رأسها، كانت تخاف على الجنين الذي سيتألم كثيراً عندما يحس أن أمه لم يعد لها رأس، وهذا الشعور كان من حقها، فهي لم تكن تحس وتعرف أن مطارحة الزوج الدائمة لزوجته بعد الحمل تدخل الجنين في الألفة وتدفعه للإحساس بأن صياغته تتم بفعل مشترك من الأب والأم معاً وليس بفعل من طرف واحد كما تريد حميدة الهلالي لجنينيها الذي أحسن أنه لها وحدها، من زرقة رأسها وحتى تشتت ركبتيها، وأن صياغتها وصياغة ألفته شأن من شؤون أمومتها وحدها.
مثل جزيرتين معزولتين في مياه واحدة، كان السيوفي يستدير بظهره إلى زوجته وكانت تسدير بظرها إليه، وشعور عارم بالمرارة، والعنف يطيح برأسيهما".
