ديوان شئ من الخوخ تأليف عمر كامل، يقول الكاتب فى مقدمة الديوان: بمجرد أن جلس أمام الكمبيوتر بجواري لكي أطلعه على الكتاب حتى تساءل صديقي في دهية: إيه ده.. هي فين؟ اعتقدت اعتقدت أنه ربما شعر فجأة أن محفظته ليست في مكانها.. وهذا يضعني في بؤرة الشبهات لأنني أقرب الناس إليه.
سألته في حذر: هي إيه؟ أجابني رافعا حاجبيه: المقدمة.. عمرك شوفت كتاب من غير مقدمة؟ كنت على وشك أن أسأله لى طريقة اللمبي: طب وإيه الضرر في كدا؟ ولكنه وضح لي ان المقدمة هدفها كتابة شيء موجز عن مضمون الكتاب عنوانه والملابسات التى أدت إلى كتابته وأشياء من هذا القبيل.
وعلى الفور حاولت كتابة مقدمة الكتاب.
