يشكل الإيمان بالله أساس الدين وألفباء القيم والحجر الأساس لكل بناء خلقي في كل مكان وكل جيل.
ومن يظن أن العالم المعاصر مشغول عن هذا الإيمان بقضايا أهم إنما يغفل عن الأبجدية في التعليم ويستهين بالتعليم الأساسي في اكتساب سائر ألوان المعرفة وينسى دور الثقافة في إفراز البنى الفوقية لكل ألوان النشاط البشري.
إن أزمة البشرية في العالم المعاصر -كأزمتها في كل العصور- إنما تعود من التحليل النهائي إلى الابتعاد عن الإيمان بالله وما يترتب على هذا الإيمان من استحقاقات ونتائج.
لكن الإيمان بالله - شأنه شأن كل القيم العليا- قد يتعرض للتحريف أو للتشويه أو للاستغلال للمصالح الشخصية أو السياسية أو غيرها، الأمر الذي يحدث لكل القيم الأخرى دون أن يحط من قيمتها... أترى نكف عن المطالبة بالديمقراطية إذا ادعتها الدكتاتوريات؟ أم نتنازل عن الحرية إذا اتخذها الطغاة شعاراً؟ أم نكفر بالعدل إذا ارتكبت المظالم باسمه؟ كذلك الإيمان بالله تعرض ويتعرض إلى ألوان الاستغلال والتشويه والتحريف مما أدى ببعض التيارات السياسية والفكرية إلى الصدود عنه أو اهماله في أفضل الأحوال، متنازلين عنه لصالح العلمانية التي تفصل بين الله وعباده لا لشيء إلا لأن دكتاتوريات لبست عباءة الدين، وإرهابيين قتلوا الأبرياء باسم التوحيد، ومتخلفين منعوا البشرية من التمتع بنعمة العلم ومنجزات الحضارة الحديثة، ومتحجرين فسروا الدين من وجهة نظرهم الضيقة، ونصوصيين وضعوا الإنسانية في قالب زمان ومكان لا علاقة لحياتنا المعاصرة به.
ولأجل تخليص الإيمان بالله من قيود التخلف والجمود وتقديمه إلى الشبان بأصالة قرآنية وبروح عصرية فقد قمت بمحاولة لعرض الإيمان بالله معتمداً الأسلوب القصصي الحواري مساهمة مني في إرساء هذا الأساس في بناء الشخصية المسلمة.
