وفيه تحدث على الإيمان وأنواعه، وأركانه، ومعانيه، وعن الإسلام وأركانه، وعن الفرق بين الإيمان والإسلام، كما ذكر في مصنفه إجباراً جاءت عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم على معنى الندب والتحذير، والأخبار الدالة على حرمة المسلم، ووجوب الإيمان برؤية الله عز وجل، وقيام الساعة، ووجوب الإيمان بالآيات العشر التي اخبر بها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، التي تكون قبل الساعة، وذكر أيضاً الإيمان بالقيامة والمحاسبة وذكر الميزان.
