يأتي هذا الديوان ضمن سلسلة "موسوعة مملكة الشعراء" والتي تضمُّ خمسين ديواناً لشُعراء جاهليّين، وشُعراء عاصروا العهد النَّبويّ، وشعراء عاصروا العصر الأُمويّ، وشعراء عاصروا العصر العبّاسي أيضاً.
وقد انتهجت هذه السّلسلة نهجاً مغايراً للدّواوين الشِّعرية التي قامت دور النّشر بطباعتها؛ فقد أولت إهتماماً زائداً في أوائل كلّ ديوان بان أوردت بعد المقدّمة والسِّيرة الذّاتيّة للشّاعر: بعضاً من أقواله، وما قيل فيه، وأمثاله، وقصصه، ثمَّ أوردت مختارات الدِّيوان.
وقد لاقى هذا العمل إستحساناً عند كثيرٍ من الأساتذة الأفاضل المهتمّين بهذا المجال.
