Book Description
لاريب أن الإمام الشافعي بحكم عروبته, وإقامته في هذيل, وحفظه لكثير من شعر العرب, وارتياحه لإنشاده والاستماع إليه, كان يجيش صدره بقول الشعر بين الحين والحين, كلما دعته المناسبة, وهزته لقول الشعر, ولم ترو عن الشافعي قصائد كبيرة, كالتي نعهدها عند المشهورين من الشعراء, وهذا يدل على أنه لم يتخذ من الشعر غاية, وإنما كان ينظم المقطعات بين البيتين أو الثلاثة وندر أن تبلغ العشرة. وهو لا يقول الشعر كما يقوله سائر الشعراء, وإنما ينهج فيه النهج الأخلاقي الذي يربي النفس, ويهذب الحس, وينقي القلوب, ويقوم السلوك. وأكثر موضوعاته الشعرية تمليها عليه مناسبة عابرة أو حكمة اجتماعية أو دينية, أو تجربة من تجاربه مع الناس والحياة, وأكثر شعره في المواعظ, ومما يصلح أن يتمثل في كل ما قيل فيه. غير أن كثيراً من الشعر الذي ينسب الى الإمام الشافعي يشك في نسبته إليه, وقد جمع شعره في ديوان بعض ما جاء فيه لا تصح نسبته إليه كما صرح بذلك بعض العلماء, إلا أن البعض استحسن هذا الصنيع لما فيه من الفائدة الكبيرة. وتعميماً للفائدة ونشراً لشعر الفضيلة والأخلاق وغرسها في المجتمع المسلم فقد تم نشر هذا الديوان.
