ربما يستغرب القارئ للوهلة الأولى من عنوان البحث، فما شأن حسن البنا والفن، وهل كان له تجربة فى الفن؟ وهل هذه التجربة ثرية لدرجة أن تتناول، ويوجد فيها مادة تجعلها جديرة بالبحث؟ هذه الأسئلة التي ربما يثيرها عقل القارئ، أثارها عقلي عند دراستى للموضوع، ولكني بعد أن انقدحت محاور الموضوع في رأسي رأيت أنه بالفعل موضوع حري بأن يبحث، وأن يناقش ويثار.
وقد جعلت الحديث عن هذه التجربة الفنية بما للفن من مجالات رحبة، ومن حيث تقسيم الفن إلى فنون صوتية، وحركية، ويدوية، وتناولت من الفنون الصوتية: فن الغناء والإنشاد، وفن النكتة. ومن الفنون الحركية: فن التمثيل ومن الفنون اليدوية: فن التصوير والرسم الكاريكاتوري، ولكني وجدت أن صفحات البحث ستطول كثيرا، إذا أفردت لكل ألوان الفن عند حسن البنا وجماعة الإخوان المسلمين حديثا مختصرا، يعطي القارئ صورة يقف بها على التجربة.
