رواية كتبها مؤلفها على قاعدة جديدة الشكل والمضمون، تدور حول المجنون الذي هو محور هذه الرواية، الذي فرض جنونه على المؤلف، ولربما لهذا السبب جاءت الرواية بطريقة غير مألوفة.
"وإنني أثناء العملية الإبداعية أضع نفسي موضع الواضع للحن لا المؤدي له.
ومن هذا المنطلق أطلب من قرائي، أن يتعاملوا مع كتاباتي، ومع هذه الرواية بالذات، التي سيجدون فيها مذاقاً، لم يتعودوه في باقي رواياتي.
لقد فرض علي المجنون -وهو محور هذه الرواية- جنونه ولربما لهذا السبب، جاءت الرواية بهذه الطريقة غير المألوفة لدي. الفصول مختلطة، يمكن وضعها كما صادف، كما يمكن قراءتها بالتسلسل التصاعدي مثل التسلسل التنازلي، وبدون أي تسلسل، الشخصية الرئيسية تتفكك بدل أن تنمو، عنصر التشويق، أو بالأحرى الخيط الذي يربط به الكتاب قراءه إلى العملن لا يتمثل في نمو الحدث وتشعبه، وإنما في البحث عن وجود حدث ما، يكون موضوع كتابة، وفي نفس الوقت، في التعمق في حالة الجنون.
تناقض كامل بين تمنطق صارم، وبين تغيب وغياب منطق منطلقين، ربما أنا شخصياً، لا أرضي كقارئي عن بعض هذا، لكن ككاتب، أجدني مضطراً لتقمص شخصية المجنون، إن لم أكنه بالفعل، وأجدني مضطراً للدفاع عن الحالة".
