تعد بيئة العمل من أهم عناصر رفع الإنتاجية للموظف، فإن كانت البيئة صحية وممتعة فسوف تتحسن نفسية العاملين ما يجعلهم يجتهدون ويبدعون أكثر، وليس صحيحاً أن تهيئة بيئة العمل تجعل الموظفين مرفهين ومدليين وغير منتجين كما يعتقد البعض!!
وإدارة بيئة العمل علم يجتهد فيه كثيرون، والمعلوم بأن من يجتهد بلا علم وإطلاع في الغالب يخطئ، لذلك من المهم الإطلاع على التجارب الناجحة في هذا المجال.
ومن الضروري أن لا تتعامل الإدارة مع العاملين على أنهم فريق آخر أو بأنهم ضد، فيجب التعامل معهم على أنهم ضمن الفريق، وبالتالي التعامل معهم بروح الفريق وتهئية نفس الظروف لهم التي تقبلهم الإدارة على نفسها.
ولا شك بأن هناك فروقاً في المستويات الإدارية قد تؤثر على بيئة كل مستوى، وتجعل هناك بيايناً في البيئة، وهذا أمر مقبول إدارياً، ولكن دون أن تقل المراتب الدنيا على الحد الإنساني المقبول عرفاً.
