كانت لحظة مكاشفة، وإنكسار، وسقوط، وإنهيار بمعنى الكلمة.. قالت سارة: - لا أصلح للحب، للحياة، للعاطفة، للمشاعر، أنا كتلة بشعة مشوهة!... كان صباحاً مملوءاً بالبكاء، والقناعات، والشكوك..
لم ينس عمار للحظة في عمره، أعنف وأعذب حكاية عشق، لم يبرأ منها تماماً وهو يبكي، ويعرف دون أن ينسى مأساة عجزه الجنسي.
سارة تنهي روايتها، تضع نقطة في نهاية السطر الأخير، تصرخ ملء سمع عمار:
- هذه عقدتي يا عمار، فلا تذكرني بها.. بغيتك عوناً فصرت فرعوناً، وقيداً جديداً مثلهم، أنا حرة، خضت حروباً، وقاتلتُ من أجل جريتي..
