عفّان عبد الله أبوبكر الفاكي، وُلد في مدينة كدونا بنيجيريا، وينحدر من آل الفاكي .
هو مؤلف وباحث تربوي، جمع بين العلم الشرعي والفكر التربوي الحديث، وكرّس جهوده في خدمة اللغة العربية ونشر قيم الإسلام عبر التعليم والإرشاد والإعلام.
يشغل منصب مؤسس ومدير أكاديمية نون للتربية والتعليم، وهي مبادرة تطوعية رائدة تُقدِّم تعليمًا شاملًا ومجانيًا في مجالات اللغة العربية والعلوم الإسلامية عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، مع شهادات معتمدة للدارسين.
كما يعمل الأستاذ عفّان مدرسًا ومستشارًا تربويًا، وله خبرة واسعة في الإدارة التعليمية.
حصل على شهادات علمية متعددة في مجالي اللغة العربية وعلوم الحاسوب، وهو أيضًا شاعرٌ وكاتبٌ وباحثٌ له عدة مؤلفات في التربية والدعوة واللغة.
وله قناة تعليمية على اليوتيوب يقدم من خلالها دروسًا في النحو والصرف، وعلم الحديث، وتعليم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها.
