تخرج في جامعة بغداد، كلية الآداب، قسم اللغة العربية، وحصل على شهادة البكلوريوس، درس الماجستير في جامعة واسط كلية التربية ونال على الشهادة بتقدير جيد جدا. له العديد من المجموعات الشعرية، منها وطن المدافن، على ضفاف الوطن، عصافير مملكة الشمس، السومري الأخير، ألفية الحب المجنون، فضلا عن مسرحيته الشعرية الموسومة الأبطال. كتبت في شعره العديد من الدراسات الأدبية لغرض الحصول على شهادة الماجستير داخل القطر وخارجه.
Book Description
مسرحية شعرية بعنوان(المجاهدون) وهي من الشعر الكلاسيكي(العمودي) نُظمت عام 2009 ونشرت في العام نفسه ضمن منشورات مطبعة المصطفى الكائنة في مدينة الكوت مركز محافظة واسط.
المسرحية من أربعة فصول، وكل فصل يتكون من أربعة مشاهد.
زمان المسرحية ما بين(1914/ 1915) ومكانها في محافظات العراق( النجف، السماوة، الناصرية، البصرة).
موضوعها دخول الانجليز الى العراق واحتلاله، ودور المجاهدين في التصدي لهم.
أهم شخوص المسرحية:
- السيد محمد سعيد الحبوبي، وهو من اوائل شعراء مدرسة الاحياء وعرف بنظم الموشحات.
_ محسن الحكيم وهو فقيه كبير وذراع الحبوبي اليمنى.
_ علي بن الشيخ جعفر الشرقي، شاعر عراقي ساعد الحبوبي في مراسلاته مع العشائر العراقية.
- باقر بن الشيخ جواد الشبيبي من انصار السيد الحبوبي.
وهناك شخصيات أخرى، ولكل شخصية دورها في المسرحية.
