- حاصل على ليسانس الآداب – قسم اللغة العربية – كلية الآداب – جامعة عين شمس .
- حاصل على دبلوم الدراسات العليا في الأدب والنقد – كلية دار العلوم – جامعة القاهرة .
- مسجل للماجستير في الأدب والنقد بكلية دار العلوم جامعة القاهرة .
- عضو اتحاد كُتَّاب مصر نشرت قصائده في عدد كبير من المجلات الأدبية والدوريات الثقافية المصرية والعربية الكبرى مثل ( العربي الكويتي – سطور – إبداع – أخبار الأدب – أدب ونقد – القاهرة – النهار ) وغيرها .
حاصل على جائزة الدكتورة سعاد الصباح للإبداع الأدبي عام 2000 عن ديوانه الثاني أكذوبة السعادة المغارة .
حاصل على جائزة قصور الثقافة المصرية عن أفضل مجموعة شعرية ، وأفضل قصيدة مفردة .
حصل على جائزة خاصة من مؤسسة عبد العزيز سعود البابطين عن قصيدته ( محمد جمال الدرة ) ، ضمن شعراء عرب آخرين في المسابقة التي أقيمت تخليداً لذكرى الشهيد .

رأيت نفسي أسير فى طريق طويل أبيض, وعلى جانبيه بحر هادر من البشر, ملايين البشر, وقفوا يصيحون ويهتفون فقراء وبسطاء وجوعى... نظرت أمامي فرأيت صديقى الدكتور يسير وحوله رفاق أعرف وجوههم, زملاؤه فى المعتقل ومفكرون كبار وماركسيون وشعراء, كانوا يسيرون تجاه عمود منصوب فى نهاية الممر.. ظللت أسير وراءهم تفصلني عنهم مسافة كبيرة.. نظرت ورائي لم أجد أحدا..ولم تصل عينى لآخر الطريق.
كان الصخب هادرا من ملايين البشر المصطفين على الجانبين وهم يسيرون لهم, ويمدون أيديهم نحوهم, نظرت الأيدي, كانت جميعها مشدودة على اخرها, ممدودة بقوة, متوترة, كأنها تنتظر منهم أن يمدوا أيديهم بدورهم لهم, حدقت فى الوجوده, وجوه صفراء وسمراء وسوداء ولا يجمع ملامحها سلالة أو تكوين واحد.
كانوا بشرا من أنحاء الأرض, وكانت أنظارهم جميعا متعلقة بالسائرين أمامي بينما لاينظر لي أحد, كان العمود البعيد يقترب مع سير الموكب فى الممر, ولا أتبين أعلاه, لا أرى سوى السارية البيضاء.
