ومن ثم ذكر تراجم للعلماء الذين تقلصت عنهم دنياهم ولم يحظوا منها بطائل، وأورد فصلا في أشعارهم وختم كتابه بوصايا للمفلوكين تعينهم على أنفسهم وتريح خواطرهم .
وهو كتاب فريد من نوعه نادر في موضوعه
