يتناول هذا البحث الأكاديمي ظاهرة "الصهيونية الدينية" التي تحولت من شريك هامشي في المشروع الصهيوني إلى القوة المحركة للسياسة الإسرائيلية ومراكز صنع القرار اليوم. يغوص العمل في الجذور الفكرية والعقائدية لهذا التيار ، موضحاً كيف تم توظيف النصوص الدينية والتوراتية لتبرير الاستيطان واعتباره فريضة دينية وفعلاً خلاصياً لا يقبل المساومة.
كما يرصد البحث بشكل تحليلي تغلغل التيار الديني داخل المؤسسة العسكرية وتغييره لعقيدة الجيش الإسرائيلي ، وتأثير هذا الخطاب المتطرف على تراجع الأحزاب العلمانية واليسارية التي تحولت إلى موقف دفاعي. ويختتم البحث بتسليط الضوء على ظاهرة "الصهيونية الجديدة" كنسخة أكثر تطرفاً ، موضحاً التداعيات الكارثية لهذا الفكر على فرص التسوية السياسية والصراع العربي الإسرائيلي.
