قال الخطابي: (الغنيمة الباردة أي السهلة؛ لأن حرة العطش لا تنال الصائم فيه).
قال ابن رجب : (معنى أنها غنيمة باردة: أنها حصلت بغير قتال، ولا تعب، ولا مشقة؛ فصاحبها يحوز هذه الغنيمة عفواً صفواً بغير كلفة).
