يتناول الكتاب تفاصيل عمل الشاباك وهو تابع لسلطة وأوامر رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي، ومهمته الرسمية "حماية الدولة من المؤامرات والتآمر الداخلي وحماية أمنها الداخلي".
