الشعر يولد من رحم الدهشة، من وهج النور، من مخاض، فالمبدع منتج لا يبدد طاقته في السراب، بل يدوَن العالم في رأسه، ويرسمها بكلمات أو بخطوط أو حركة، ومن رحم لبنان ولدت شاعرة جديدة وولد معها باكورة أعمالها "أشلاء من عدم" إنها (لارافوز)، هي شاعرة تشعرك بصدق الإنتماء إلى وطن أحبته وأحبها، ومع ذلك لم تتخلى عن تدوين فيوضاتها في أشد الحالات قسوة أو مسرة، فالإبداع في الشعر يتدفق لأنه يمتلك قوة كاملة ذاتية فيشق طريقه ويندفع مثل نافورة متدفق ماؤها بغزارة وكذلك هي حال شاعرتنا. نقرأ لها قصيدة بعنوان "هاتي قدرك وتعالي!": نعشق الحياة/ وهي تعشق أوحاعنا/ في وجودها/ تبحث عنَا/ تختبئ خلف طيَات الشكوك/ فنصطدم بها/ نشتاق إلى أنفسنا/ فنستقيل من حلبة مصارعة/ بين زمان استقال منَا/ وبين حياة استقلنا منها/ غدونا رهائن كرتونية/ بين أبطال قصص نحلم بها/ وبين أبطال روايات/ لطالما حلمت بنا (...)" . بهذا الخطاب تسعى الشاعرة إلى إيصال المعاني كما تراها هي في الآخر، وتلقي عليها نثارات من فكرها الشخصي...
يضم الكتاب أربعة وعشرون قصيدة نثرية جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "صدى جنون"، "رقم دبلوماسي"، "أغلى من روح"، "ليتك تعرفني"، "من كانت يوماً سيَدتي"، "شرفة المحك"، "غدر زمان"، "رجل من ورق"، "التباس حب"، "دون سابق إنذار"، "خيال سفر" (...) وقصائد أخرى.
