يسعدني أن أنجز الجزء الرابع من كتابي "إرشادات إلى الترجمة"، الكتاب غير التقليدي الذي يهدف إلى "التعليم" بأبسط طريقة.
ليس هدفي هو التمسك بالتقاليد الأكاديمية في عرض محتوى هذا الكتاب؛ إنما هدفي الأهم هو إيصال معلومة متقدمة advanced ومُفصلة well-detailed لكن بأسلوب بسيط موجز.
كما أني أهدف إلى ربط الترجمة واللغة الإنجليزية، وحتى العربية؛ بالأمور الحياتية والمعاصرة؛ أحاول أن أتجنب النصائح المعتادة (stereotypical tips) مثل: ابدأ الجملة العربية بفعل وليس فاعل، أو لا تقُل "تم" و"قام"، لكن أريد الخوض في أفكار جديدة ومواضيع لم يتطرق أحد لها من ذي قبل، وأستعرض مستويات لُغوية وأصناف من الكلمات والتعبيرات، غير مألوفة في مناهج تعليم الترجمة.
