تبدو هذه الجملة صعبة على المترجم لأن بها عبارة رسمية معناها غير واضح لكن يمكن أن "نتصرف" ونعيد الصياغة هكذا:

● يجب أولًا أن نحدد المستوى اللُغوي Register وهو هنا رسمي Formal، ثم المعنى الأصلي للكلمة التي نريد أن نترجمها؛ فكلمة "أواصر" تعني الرباط والمودة (مثل قولنا "أواصر الصداقة والود..إلخ)
يوجد تعبير يتفق مع التعبير العربي معنى ولفظًا، ألا وهو:
