تُفرض على الجنس البشري في كثير من بقاع العالم سرعة التغيرات المحلية، والعالمية التي تفرض على الإدارة فكرا جديدا ورؤية جديدة، حيث يأنس لها البعض، ويهرب منها البعض الآخر لأنها تُحَب وتُكره وفق ديناميكية الفرد واستعداده. وبالتالي فإن الفرد بغض النظر عن موقعه ليس بمعزل عن تأثير تلك المتغيرات، ولا يوجد من هو محصن عنها سواء أكان بالنظم الاجتماعية أو بالقيم والاتجاهات، لذلك فإن توقعات الأفراد سوف تختلف، وعليه سيلحق التغير المشكلة بالأنماط السلوكية، وبدوره ذلك سوف يؤثر سلبا أو إيجابا على أداء الأفراد بالمنظمات. ان السلوك في موقع العمل يشكل عوامل فرديه وجماعية تنظيميه وان السلوك التنظيمي يعني بدراسة الفرد والجماعة داخل المنظمة أي داخل التنظيم الذي تحويه المنظمة بكل كوادرها البشرية بدءاً من الخفير حتى المدير.
