L’ethnie Hui Hui est connue par la création des arts martiaux en chine. Styles appelés « Hui jiaoWuschu » kung-fu musulman. Une appellation donnée par les chinois au même.
Les Hui sont dotés d’une grande tradition, et cette population a apporté une attention particulière à la pratique des arts martiaux. Ils ont trouvé dans leur religion un appui: le Prophète était aussi un guerrier, qui pratique les arts martiaux, c’est donc un acte qui rend hommage au Prophète, un acte Saint en continuité avec la foi religieuse.Roger ITIER
A la différence des Hans, chez qui le Wuschu est une pratique minoritaire, la valorisation religieuse a transformé ce sport de combat en une part indissociable de la vie de tous les musulmans chinois. Roger ITIER
En effet, l’ethnie Hui vient de concrétiser cette notion fondamentale de l’influence des principes de l’islam, par la création des styles d’art martiaux, aussi, efficaces qu’artistiques, en référence au principe de l’islam, et en référence au « Sira » la vie du prophète.
L’art martial musulman, vient concrétiser l’influence des concepts de l’islam sur les mouvements et les déplacements dans l’espace des styles martiaux.
En fait, on peut supposer que l’ethnie Hui , en outre, s’est basée sur deux éléments ayant une relation directe avec l’islam pour créer et fonder leur style.
D’ailleurs, la création des styles modernes, comme le « Wuschu », se sont basés dans leur grande majorité sur les styles musulmans, notamment les styles :
• Tantui
• Bajiquan
• ChaQuan
Tous les aspects des arts martiaux chinois rendent hommage à l’ethnie Hui , pour leur esprit esthétique et pour leur efficacité au combat, en fait, le style LuxingQuan, par exemple, est considéré par tous les experts d’arts martiaux, comme un des styles, des plus efficaces dans la panoplie d’arts martiaux chinois dans les combats de corps à corps.
