وقد دارت أحداث هذه الرواية في فترة من أحلك الفترات في تاريخ الوطن الأردني، فقد بدأت أحداث هذه الرواية وقت الانتداب البريطاني على الأردن وفلسطين، ثم يمر بالفترة التي حدث فيها الصراع العربي الإسرائيلي وما حدث في هذه الفترة من نكبات وانتكاسات في حياة الشعب الأردني وحياة الشعب الأردني.
