يحتوي هذا الكتاب على حوارات للكاتب ``محمد صابر عبيد، وتدور حول موضوعين، فالأول منهما «تحوّلاتُ الأرجُوان» ولعل المدّى الدلاليّ الشاسع لمفهوم ``تحوّلاتُ`` معروف نسبيا ويدخل في صميم النشاط الأدبي والفعالية الثقافيّة، فالأدب والثقافة من دون تحوّلاتٍ مستمرّة ليسا سوى كيانين ميّتين، فالحياة في التحوّل، والتحوّل جوهر الحياة وهويتّها الدائمة، ولا حياة بلا تحوّل، والجمعُ هنا مقصودٌ من أجل مضاعفة زخم فكرة التحوّل وفتح دلالاتها على أفضية أوسع لا تقف عند حدود المعنى المباشر العام للتحوّل، وهو ما يناسب على نحوٍ ما تحولاته الشخصيّة التي أرجو أن تتمظهر كما أشتهى في ما يتبدّى من حوارات، أمّا ``الأرجُوان`` فهو دالٌ شاسعٌ أيضا على الرغم من مرجعيّته (النباتيّة) في الأصل، وحتى هذه المرجعيّة تزخر بالدلالات الظاهرة والباطنة، فالأرجوانُ نباتٌ شديدُ الحُمرةِ لونا، حَسَنُ المنظر مَظهرا، يتفتَحُ زهرُهُ باكرا في الربيع قبل بروز أوراقه الخضر الأنيقة، بتفرّدٍ استباقيّ عجيبٍ لا يحظى به أيّ نبات زهريّ آخر، فيما يمكن أن يكون صفةً باطنةً ذات سحرٍ نوعي في تشكيل دلالات لا تُخفي بُعدَها المجازيّ الرمزيّ، على النحو الذي صار فيه لونا ملكيّا وإمبراطوريّا تحت سلطة الأرُجوان الملكيّ، والأرجوان الإمبراطوريّ، بكلّ ما يتمتّع به في هذا المقام من خصبٍ وثراءٍ وقيمةٍ على المستويات المقترحة والمحتملة كافة، بينما الثاني «ذهول العاشق أمام بهجة الوهم» ينأى كثيرا عن طبيعة الجوّ الدلاليّ والقيميّ الذي يرسمه الأرجُوانَ وتحوّلاته بقوّةٍ وتمكنٍ واقتدار، فالعاشقُ إنْ لم يتحرّك عشقُهُ في فضاء الذهول فإنّ عشقه ناقصٌ، والذهولُ أقصى حالات العشقِ لدى العشّاق الباهرين المنتمين، والتعالق السيميائيّ بين ندى الذهول وعرق العاشق لا يحتاج إلى إثبات، لأنّ الذهول قميصُ العاشقِ، يتفاعل فيه ندى الذهول مع عرق العاشق كي ينتجَ ذلك الخجلِ الرّطبِ وقد تزيّن به وجهُ العاشق من أن أجل أن يكون لائقا بعشقه وجديرا به.
