إن الجانب المخصص للمنظمة الخاصة في تاريخ فيدرالية فرنسا لجبهة التحرير الوطني قد ترك في الظل بعدا مهما في الكفاح التحرري في التراب الفرنسي و قد نشأ بين مختلف الجهات التي تبنت الكفاح المسلح، نزاع لم يكن الوقت مساعدا على حله. هل كانت المنظمة الخاصة لفيدرالية فرنسا لجبهة التحرير الوطني فرعا للمنظمة المدنية المراقبة من طرف اللجنة الفيدرالية، أم منظمة عسكرية تابعة لمراكز قرارات أخرى ؟ بالنسبة لأعضاء المنظمة، لا مجال للشك أنهم كانوا جنودا لجيش التحرير الوطني. هذا الكتاب يعيد الاعتبار لكلمة الفاعلين الرئيسيين، الذين رفعوا الستار عن الأحداث التي لم تكشف عنها، لا تقارير فيدرالية فرنسا لجبهة التحرير الوطني، و لا تقارير الشرطة الفرنسية. إن أعضاء المنظمة الخاصة قد حكوا تاريخهم باذلين جهدا مؤلما للتذكر، و لإيجاد الكلمات و العبارات لسرد الأحداث. إن هويتهم متواجدة في هذا التاريخ، إنها هذا التاريخ نفسه. و بترابط مستمر، تنتظم أصولهم الاجتماعية، و علاقاتهم الشخصية، و ألف لقاء و مسخ لكيانهم؛ نجد فيها : الوطن، العائلة، المدرسة، العمل، الوسط الذي ترعرعوا فيه. إن المؤرخ دحو جربال قد سلط الضوء على المستوى المحسوس و على الفعل الاجتماعي، من أجل إعادة الاعتبار للكفاءات المشتركة للأبطال. و بوضعه ترتيبا لعلاقة الأحداث ببعضها، فإن روايات البعض تصنع معان لهم في حد ذاتهم، و لكل الذين يتعرفون عليها اليوم.
