عبد الرحيم بدر فلكي وطبيب ورسام وكاتب ولد في مدينة الخليل بفلسطين سنة 1920م وتخرج طبيباً من جامعة القاهرة سنة 1945م وتوفي سنة 1994م. اهتم بدراسة علم الفلك وأسس الجمعية الفلكية الأردنية عام 1987. وكان عضوا في الجمعية الأردنية لتاريخ العلوم.
له عدد من المؤلفات والمقالات والكتب الفلكية الناجحة منها: الكون الأحدب سنة 1962م وهو قصة النظرية النسبية بأسلوب شيق، ودليل السماء والنجوم سنة 1981م، والفلك عند عبد الرحيم بدر فلكي وطبيب ورسام وكاتب ولد في مدينة الخليل بفلسطين سنة 1920م وتخرج طبيباً من جامعة القاهرة سنة 1945م وتوفي سنة 1994م. اهتم بدراسة علم الفلك وأسس الجمعية الفلكية الأردنية عام 1987. وكان عضوا في الجمعية الأردنية لتاريخ العلوم.

وله مقالات عديدة منشورة في مجال اهتمامه الفلكي.

تكمن عبقرية آنشتاين في النظرية النسبية التي وضعها. فما هي هذه النظرية النسبية التي ملأت العالم وشغلت الناس، إنها نظرية فيزيائية (طبيعية) تبحث في مواضيع من التي تبحثها الفيزياء العادية، كالزمان والسرعة والكتلة والجاذبية والشارع ولكنها تنظر إلى هذه الأمور بوجهة نظر أخرى.
والباحث في هذا الكتاب يسير مع القارئ وخطوة خطوة للوصول إلى استيعاب فكرة عن تلك النظرية. وقد تكون غرابة النظرية هي التي توحي بأنها صعبة عسيرة الفهم لذا فقد كان الهدف من الكتاب أن يجعل القارئ يكوّن فكرة واضحة، فلا يظن أنها من الصعوبة بمكان عظيم بحيث لا يتسنى فهمها إلا لأشخاص موهوبين.
