لكن ما أضمنه لك أمران:
أنك ستحب سيدنا الحسين أكثر.. والثانى أنك سترى هولا لا تطيقه، ودماء لم تعهدها، وأحداثًا أغرب من أن تتخيلها، وكل هذا حقيقى، وسنده الأساسى ابن كثير والطبرى.
عندما أعدت قراءة كتابى هذا، قررت أن أحذف منه كثيرا وأضيف إليه أكثر.. لكننى كلما كنت أحاول، أعود فأرى الدم المراق، والأحصنة اللاهثة، والسيوف اللامعة، وألسنة النار، وألوان الخيانة، ودفقات الجثث، وصراخ الثكلى، وجموع الرؤوس المقصوفة والمذبوحة.
فلم أحذف... ولم أضف...
