يمكن الخلوص إلى أن برامج الأطفال التلفزيونية تضطلع بدور كبير في تنشئة الطفل وترسيخ القيم الرفيعة لديه، وذلك باعتبار أن هذا الجهاز ووسائل الإعلام عموما، قد تبوأت مكانة هامة ضمن مؤسسات التنشئة الاجتماعية؛ إذ تستقطب الطفل من خلال مضامين توظف أساليب مختلفة للإقناع. وما يلاحظ في هذا الإطار أن برامج الأطفال في أغلب القنوات العربية، تركز على القيم الاجتماعية والسلوكية والأخلاقية، فتقدمها باستخدام أساليب متنوعة منها الأغنية والألعاب، إلا أن بعض هذه البرامج لا يوظف اللغة العربية أو اللغات الأجنبية بشكل سليم، ولا يراعي ما يتم تمريره أحيانا من مبالغات أو تشويش على القيم التي يتعين الحفاظ عليها وتقوية العمل بها. وهنا وجب الاهتمام أكثر بالجانب القيمي لهذه البرامج وتطوير أدائها بما يتماشى واحتياجات الطفل العربي وتغيّرات الواقع المحيط به.
