إن تثقيف الطفل من الميلاد حتي عتبات الشباب وحسب طبيعة كل مرحلة عمرية، وفي غطار أدبه القصصي، والمسرحي، والحكائي، والشعر الغنائي المناسب لكل سنة عمرية، يسلعد كلا من الأسرة، والمعلمين، والمربين، والمبدعين المتعاملين مع عالم الطفولة، علي إثراء الطفل بالخبرات المناسبة، ويلبي حاجاته النفسية الملحة، ويشعر بقيمة التنشئة والتربية الاجتماعية والنفسية، ووظائف كل منهما، وفي الوقت نفسه، إن تعرف الطفل بثقافته المناسبة، وبمصادر من الأدب شعره ونثره، ووظائف تلك الثقافة وفي مراحله الباكرة، يمثل حتمية تربوية لبناء شخصية الطفل.
وكلما كانت الثقافة الوطنية والقومية أصلية، ومستمدة من قيم الوطن والأمة، تجسدت في الاطفال قيما رفيعة، ولغة جميلة، وذائقة مصرية وعربية ناعمة الملمس، رفيعة المستوى وطنية التوجه، وانتماء فخوراً نحو كل ما هو مصري وعربي، وهكذا تكون الثقافة الوطنية والقومية، من أقوي المناهج في تشكيل أطفالنا، وبما يتفق وتكوين مجتمع الغد، الواعد بقيادة مصرية وعرقبية منتمية قادرة علي اتخاذ القرار المنحاز دائماً لمصلحة الوطن العليا، والأمة التي لا حدود لصعودها لأنها تبدع علماً، ومعرفة، وموروثاً شعبياً، والمواقف، والإنسان النازع إلي التقدم، من ثم تمتلك طفولة مثقفة مدركة واعية.
