يتضمن هذا الكتاب أربعة نصوص: أزمة الزواج في سورية-مطبات في مسيرة المرأة العربية على طريق التحرر والمساواة-معنى الطلاق في سورية-دراسة عن أوضاع المرأة السورية. لقد لاقت الدراسة عن (مطبات المرأة العربية) معارضة شديدة من قبل فئة معتبرة من النساء، ومن كانت منهن قد اطلعت على كتابات المؤلف السابقة فوجئت بأن تقرأ هكذا آراء لصاحب (الثالوث المجرم) و(أزمة الزواج) وظنت أن المؤلف قد ارتد إلى المعسكر المعادي للمرأة، إنما الحقيقة أن القراءة الممتعة والمجردة لهذه الدراسة لن ترى فيها أية عدائية للنساء، بل العكس تماماً، فقد آن الأوان لأن تسمع النساء نقداً من طرف أنصارهن الرجال، ليقمن هن أيضاً بالنقد الذاتي. هذا إن أردن حرية ومساواة حقيقية لا حرية ومساواة وصائية.
