تناول الكتاب التأميين البري وفقاً لما جاء في التشريعات الأردنية لمعالجة عقد التأمين إعتباره من العقود المسماه في القانون المدني الأردني وذلك على ضوء الدراسة المقارنه مع ماورد في القوانيين المدنية لبعض البلدان العربية واستقراء أحكام القضاء الأردني الذي اجتهد في تطبيقه العملي لقواعد وأحكام عقد التأمين وتطرق الكتاب الى تنظيم التأمين ومراقبة نشاط الهيئات القائمة عليه من خلال ماورد في القانون مراقبة أعمال التأمين رقم 30 لسنة 1984 إضافة الى دراسة بعض الأحكام الخاصة ببعض عقود التأميين التي نظمها الشرع كعقد التأميين من المسؤولية المدنية ضد حوادث السيارات بموجب نظام التأمين الالزامي على المركبات رقم 29 لسنة 1955 وتطرق الى وضع هذه العقود في دائرة الضوء الفقهي والقضائي كما تناول الكتاب جميع ما يتعلق بالتأمين البري على اختلاف القوانيين والنظم التي عولجت ضمن النظام القانوني الأردني كما عرف الكتاب التأمين وخصائصه وأركانه وآثار عقد التأمين وانقضائه وتطرق الى التأمين الإلزامي على المركبات لصلح الغير وعقد التأميين على الحياة وعقد التأميين من الحريق.
