وبناء على ما تقدم اعتبر المؤلف أنه لا وجود لإسلام خميني في عرض المحمدي ، بل هو النمط الإجتهادي لمعرفة الإسلام المحمّدي وممارسته في الحياة .
يوضح الكتاب نهج الإمام الخميني المرتكز على الفقه الذي استمد منه للأمة ثقافة حياة إجتماعية وسياسية أسست لثقافة إيمانية - جهادية تؤسس لثقافة أو " نمط حياة إسلامي " كما يعبّر الإمام الخامنئي كما يوضح الكتاب الرؤية التي قامت عند الإمام وهي " أصالة النص وحاكميته على التاريخ وقدرة النص على مواكبة تغيرات الزمان والمكان ، من حيث الهدى وتحريك فاعليات الإنسان في تغيير وإصلاح الذات والواقع " .
وعليه ، يتناول المؤلف في هذا الكتاب ثلاثة أمور حول نهج الإمام : أولاً : أطروحة ولاية الفقيه . ثانياً : أطروحة حزب الله القرآنية . ثالثاً : أطروحة نهج الإقتدار ، وهذا هو الجديد في المشروع الإسلامي عند الإمام الخميني ...
