أستاذ الفلسفة سابقاً في جامعة أوهايو في الولايات المتحدة الأميركية وفي جامعة بيروت العربية، وحالياً أستاذ الترجمة في الجامعة الأميركية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا أستاذ الفلسفة والترجمة في الجامعة الأمريكية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا (AUST) في بيروت- لبنان.
درّس الفلسفة في جامعة روتجرز (Rutgers University) وجامعة ولاية أوهايو (Ohio State University) وجامعة جون كارولز (John Carrols University) في الولايات المتحدة.
Book Description
ضمن سلسلة التعريف بفكر سعادة وبمناسبة مئوية سعادة يصدر هذا الكتاب، للتعريف بمنهج سعادة، الذي كثر استخدامه في كتابات عدد من أعضاء الحزب السوري القومي الاجتماعي الذي أسسه سعادة وفي خطب عود من المتكلمين عن هذا الرجل. وبحسب المؤلف، فإن الهدف الرئيس من هذا الكتاب هو وضع المنهج في دائرة المعرفة التي ينتمي إليها حقاً. أي علم المنطق الذي يعرف بأنه علم المناهج.
يحوي الكتاب قسمين: الأول النهج والمناهج عند سعادة، القسم الثاني وضع المؤلف قراءات خمسة لأهم مؤلفات سعادة وهي المحاضرات العشر، نشوء الأمم، الإسلام في رسالتيه، الأدب والقصة والمؤلف يرى أن سعادة وضع نهجاً للتأسيس قائماً على فكرة مركزية واحدة ألا وهي فكرة الأمة ومعنى ذلك أن النهج قومي وقد استخدمه سعادة في كل مناقشة منطقية وفي كل منهج علمي أو فلسفي طبقة.
وبالنسبة لخصائص التفكير المنهجي يذكر المؤلف خاصيتين هما: الاستقلالية والضرورة اللفظية إذ ظهر المنحى الاستقلالي لتفكير سعادة المنهجي في كتاباته كلها وظهرت خاصة الضرورة اللفظية للعقيدة في رفضه لتسمية السوريين بالهللخصبيين ورفضه تسمية حزبه بالحزب القومي الاشتراكي والأمثلة عديدة على ذلك.
