وفي هذا الكتاب شرح لديوان "الأعشى الكبير" ميمون بن قيس جمعه الدكتور "يحيى شامي" متبعاً في شرحه للأبيات طريقة الشرح القاموسي للألفاظ التي يستغلق فهمها على القارئ ومن ثم يحاول شرح المعنى الإجمالي للبيت. ولأهمية الفهارس عني مؤلف الدراسة بتذييلها بمجموعة من الفهارس للقصائد
